Rome Champion

Djokovic got through the final with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 over Wawrinka. Not only did we get the 2nd Swiss player inside the top 10, but Djokovic really closed the gap between himself and the two guys in front. Not so much on Federer, as he had almost no points to defend, but A WHOLE LOT of closer to Nadal. Djokovic has passed 5000 points and Nadal went down to around 5400. If the outcome in Rome happens again in Hamburg, Djokovic will pass Nadal and become “the 2nd player of the world” like he says it.

Hamburg is next, and do I dare to guess that Nadal wants this title more than ever? Federer shouldn’t be to hesitant either I assume.
